We champion women's health by dismantling taboos and shame around their bodies. But there's no such thing as women's health without the health of the world we live in. That's why we're dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and the environmental impact of our products.
We're honest and open about everything – vulvas, periods, discharge, you name it – so we want to be as transparent about our eco goals as we are about clots and clumps.
We're always on the hunt for clever material sourcing that can make our products kinder to the planet (and to vulvas).
Less product, less packaging, less waste. We are reducing our carbon footprint by only using materials and packaging where needed.
What we're doing to reach our goal
* Based on lifecycle assessment done in 2020 on reusable panty vs. ultra thin towels
** On our day assortment, we use around 50% biomass balanced sources and 40% recycled plastic in the plastic bag.
*** Our brand is committed to reduce the carbon footprint for products or services by 2030. One step to achieve this is by switching to electricity in our factory from renewable sources such as e.g. water, wind or sun. This electricity in our factories is purchased externally and is certified with guarantees of origin. These certificates are not created by us, but are issued by external institutes like the European Electricity Certification System (EECS) to secure credibility. This means that we secure that all electricity that we use in our factories is produced from renewable sources. By doing so we support the development of renewable electricity on all markets.
