Parental misunderstanding: Can I live alone at 14?

We often think that our parents don’t understand us when we’re your age. That’s because you’re in the process of becoming an adult yourself, but you haven’t quite got there yet. Try and think of it as it being you who’s changing while your parents are the same as they’ve always been. It’s not a good idea to leave home when you’re 14.
